Camp lead, As 4-year Burning Man participant, Sam has used his background in engineering to contribute to large scale art at Burning Man. In 2016, he was on the build crew for Catacomb of Veils and in 2017 he helped designing and building the Tree of Ténéré. He currently works for the design and technology studio Symmetry Labs helping design, manage, and install large scale LED art installations around the world. He is excited to further increase his contribution to Burning Man with a camp of his own, where he can merge his engineering skills, passion for music and the friendships he has made along the way.
Installation founder and lead, Nate Argetsinger dreamed up Synaesthesia years ago and now he is working to bring the idea in his head to life. After six months touring Symmetry Labs infrastructure with Twenty One Pilots, he has the space to devote himself to his own creative endeavours. This will be his fifth burn, and has always brought his skills to the playa arts. He helped design and build the Tree of Ténéré and was a lead on the iAwake project - Larry Harvey’s final Man. By combining his engineering expertise and love of music, he’s goal is to create a playground of light, sound, and music.
